FAQ

  • Can you customize our ceremony script?

Absolutely! Your ceremony should feel totally like you. Whether you have a specific style in mind, a special tradition you want to include, or a unity ritual that speaks to your love story, we’ll work together to make it magical, meaningful, and 100% unforgettable.

  • Do we have to write our own vows?

Not if you don’t want to. If writing your own vows isn’t your thing, we’ve got you covered. We can weave your thoughts and feelings into the ceremony script, so you can skip the vow-reading and still have a moment that feels so you.

  • Do you do non-denominational or same-sex weddings?

Of course. Love is love, and we’re here to celebrate your story—no matter your background, beliefs, or who you’re saying “I do” to. Your ceremony will be personal, meaningful, and completely you.

  • How long should our ceremony be?

It’s totally up to you! We recommend keeping it around 15-20 minutes if you’ve got guests—no one wants to see their attention span vanish faster than the vows! Also, keep the desert weather in mind. Summer heat and winter chill can sneak up on you, so if you're going for an outdoor ceremony, a little planning around the elements will make sure everyone stays comfortable and engaged!

  • How do we get a marriage license?

Both parties must appear in person at the County Clerk's Office with proof of age and valid identification, and pay a non-refundable license fee of $50. This fee includes one certified copy of the marriage license. Once issued, the marriage license becomes effective immediately but must be used within 32 days of purchase, after which it expires. A marriage license obtained in Washington County is valid for use in any county throughout the State of Utah.
